If you eat this type of beef, you have been conned and it could kill you!

I can't understand the fuss about Wagyu beef, but can understand the marketing behind it. Wagyu cattle are artificially fattened on grains, so their meat is high in all the wrong kinds of fat, ie. overloaded with Omega 6s which are responsible for so many health issues for humans. Of course it's all marketing, but the smart people who care about what they eat and also the taste of their beef will always choose grass fed beef. Sadly, mass production started moving beef production to high volume using grain feeds many years ago. Now they are glorifying the malpractice to justify and promote their inferior product! Because grass is the natural food of cows, grass fed beef is high in the good Omega 3 fats and so is actually good for you, and it won't put you into a casket. Most locally sourced Australian beef is grass fed, so just make sure what you buy is not also spoiled with other chemicals used in the production, ie. growth hormones and anti-biotics.
